I love our Christmas tree.
While taking some pictures of the fun things on our tree I found this clothespin...must have been a decoration Bergen put on :)
The best thing about Christmas is the excitement of the boys. Bergen could hardly contain himself leading up to Christmas morning and Owen was just trying to soak it all up.
Santa gave Bergen and Travis each a remote control car. They are small and good for inside. Do I even need to mention they were a huge success?! Santa stuck with the car theme and Owie-cakes got a Lego car set, but he has plenty of fun chasing after Bergen or Daddy's car!
Owen wasn't too into opening the presents. Or maybe he just never got enough time to do it himself before big brother offered to help :) One of my favorite things this year was having Bergen pick out a present for Owen. At first he picked several things that looked more like things he would want, but we did finally help him to pick out a doggie ball for Owen. He was so excited to have Owen open it.
Owen loves little stuffed animals.
You can see everything with these "nock-lee-ears"
Owen gave Bergen these torpedos. He was so thankful to Owen and can't wait to use them at the pool. Until then the bathtub is working great.
Bergen was with us when we got these books so we told him they were for Owen. He was so confused when he opened them. "Hey!! These are for baby!" When we told him we tricked him and they really were for him he was excited.
It was a great day just hanging out together and playing with all the new things. It really was a relaxing, fun day.
We got this toaster, although we ended up taking it back later because it only toasted one side of the bread, but anyway... Bergen was really into getting it open. It took me awhile to figure out he didn't want to eat anything, he just wanted to toast things.
This is a "remember when we got that? I wonder what happen to it" picture.
We really had a good Christmas together. Seeing the boys get and be excited about different activities and things throughout the season was definitely the best part. And getting to all be together was a very close second. We are so blessed!

Gingerbread houses have become a tradition for us. We all look forward to and enjoy decorating the house, except we all have different ideas of how we want to decorate it. When we found this gingerbread village kit for the same price as our usual house it wasn't even a question that this is the way we should go! We all got to put our own stamp on a house and created quite the little village. The poor village didn't stay around for long though, Bergen got right to work devouring it.
