One of my favorite things of the week was the almost all night party the boys were attempting. We had them in bed, lights out, and thought they were almost asleep. But slowly and steadily the toys came out, the lamps came on, and the talking got louder. They were being nice to each other and staying in the room for the most part. But at 10:30 Helen and I went to check on them and this picture is what we found! Were we mad? Of course not, we took pictures :) After a fairly quick clean up we again turned out the lights and it was only a few minutes until they all fell asleep.
Another one of my favorite moments was the narrow escape the boys almost made. Bergen had been in his room in trouble for something. Travis went in to talk to him and let him out. A while later I thought Travis was in the garage so when Bergen and the other boys out there to play, since they had a bat and ball (better not in the house) I didn't follow them out. I could hear the boys playing and after a while I heard the garage go up. I walked into our bedroom to grab something for Owen and happened to walk past my phone just as I was getting a message. It said this...Ah ha ha ha! Note to self: hide that key in Bergen's room again. Luckily the boys didn't go anywhere or get lost during their short time of no supervision outside. But seriously, it was hilarious!
My not favorite moment is when Nathan, Helen, and Joshua all got sick. Like really sick! It was not fun for them. I had to call Travis home to help with the situation. Thankfully he was able to because I'm not very good assisting with throw up. Amazingly no one in our family got that kind of sick. Since Joshua was still sick the day they were supposed to go home, we got an extra day with them! We colored Easter eggs together which is always fun.
Helen and I have tried countless times to get a good picture of our boys together. We still got plenty of silly, funny, and bad ones, but this time I think we actually got a really good one of everyone at the same time. All FIVE of them! Five, how is that possible?!
